Safety wing
BACK
We created two videos to promote different giveaway campaigns for Safetywing. In the first video, we playfully “discouraged” viewers from entering—implying we wanted a better chance to win ourselves. This added a humorous twist to the promotion. In the second video, we tapped into the emotions associated with travel, focusing specifically on the excitement of being at the airport. Our goal was to motivate people with that familiar feeling and inspire them to enter the giveaway.
THE IDEA
A Free Trip? No Thanks! The first video was dripping with sarcasm, aiming to make the promotion less salesy and more engaging through humor. This approach piqued interest and made the giveaway more memorable.
Easy to Consume We included all the key details within the video itself, rather than relying on the caption. By doing so, we made it easier for viewers to quickly grasp the benefits of the giveaway and stay engaged.
Travel Nostalgia In the second video, we focused on the nostalgia of being at the airport, ready for an adventure. Since entering the giveaway involved sharing a Polaroid of a recent trip, we wanted to evoke that sense of wanderlust. The allure of winning a flight to anywhere in the world added extra motivation for viewers to participate.
THE RESULTS
Safetywing’s reels usually receive around 1,000 views, but our campaign elevated this significantly. The two reels got a combined reach of over 108,000 views—a substantial increase. By leveraging Manychat, we were able to capture a click-through rate directly from comments. When users commented, Manychat automatically sent a link to join the giveaway, effectively driving traffic and facilitating participation.
